Culture
Culture in the Netherlands
Promotion of culture, both at home and abroad, is a priority of the Government. The essence of its international cultural policy is to facilitate cultural exchanges and to promote the Netherlands as a "free-port" where cultural interaction takes place . There are several Dutch cultural funds and sector-based organisations receiving subsidies from the Government for the promotion of Dutch culture. A Dutch legal person must make the applications.

N.B. - Help us to be environmentally friendly – request with regard to handing project proposals
Dear applicant,
We would like to ask you to help us in being environmentally friendly.
You can do this by submitting your project proposals on A4 pages (80 grams), printed both sides. We also kindly ask you to not add any plastic covers to each of the pages of your project proposal. One quick-binder or cardboard/plastic folder around the entire project proposal is much more environmentally friendly.
Thank you for help!
