Political Affairs

The Management and Political Afairs Department of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Bucharest carries out a wide range of activities, mainly in connection with the bilateral political dialogue with governmental and non-governmental partners. During the past few years, the main theme of this dialogue has been Romania's integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures.

The department is also responsible for the coordination of the policy related activities of other sections of the Embassy, as well as for the promotion of bilateral cooperation, strengthening of the economic relations, development of cultural contacts, assistance to Dutch citizens in need.
